Each lodge has its own separate kitchen and dining room. From our greenhouse we gather fresh lettuces, tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs, as well as edible and decorative flowers. Each day our bakery produces delectable breads, cookies, pastries and desserts. From the tundra we gather and preserve wild berries for you to enjoy as jams and syrups.   The mystery remains how you can prepare such delicious cuisine in a remote location. It takes good management to achieve fine goals in an urban setting, and it is simply remarkable for such a short season on the threshold of the Arctic. -Bill Dreher
