In summer our staff community is almost four dozen strong, drawing from all corners of the country and abroad. We live, work and play in an amazing location, making a lifestyle around natural beauty, hard work, close friends, land ethics and resourcefulness. Whether cutting beams for a new timberframe, turning out crusty sourdough baguettes from the bakery, designing and sewing quilts and curtains, or flatpicking bluegrass tunes under the midnight sun, we share a love of Denali's wilderness and a commitment to quality. Each winter as the park road snows in, a handful of us retire to our homes and winter office at the park entrance to ski, mush, knit and plan for next year. It is our joy and privilege to share Denali with you.
